Falcons head coach on Chiefs TE Travis Kelce: 'He's a freak'
In a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast, Travis Kelce addressed his slow start to the 2024 NFL season, where he has recorded just four catches for 39 yards over the first two games.
Kelce took full responsibility for his performance, stating, "I put that on me. I didn't play my best, and it spreads if you don't fix it."
He emphasized that many factors contribute to a receiver's success, including the right play call, coverage, and overall team execution.
Kelce noted that he used to get frustrated with his performance but has since adopted a more relaxed mindset.
"I stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago," he explained. Instead, he focuses on playing freely and contributing to the team's success.
Despite his personal struggles, Kelce praised the Chiefs' defense for their strong play, which has helped the team maintain a 2-0 record.
As the Chiefs prepare for their upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons, Kelce remains committed to improving his performance and supporting his teammates in their pursuit of another Super Bowl title.
