Travis Kelce Didn't Hold Back When Asked About His Slow Start

Travis Kelce addressed his slow start to the season during a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast, emphasizing that he is not frustrated by his performance.

After catching only four passes for 39 yards in the first two games, he acknowledged that he used to get upset about such statistics but has since adopted a more relaxed mindset.

Kelce stated, “I stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago,” explaining that he now focuses on playing freely and contributing to the team rather than fixating on personal numbers.

He noted that football is unpredictable and that various factors must align for any player to succeed in a game.

Despite his individual struggles, Kelce praised the Chiefs' defense for their strong performances, which have helped the team secure a 2-0 record

He expressed confidence in his ability to improve as the season progresses, stating, “It’s all play-specific anyway,” and highlighted his commitment to accountability on the field.

As the Chiefs prepare for their upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons, Kelce remains optimistic about turning things around.
