Travis Kelce vows to avoid viral moment amid slow start

Travis Kelce has openly addressed his slow start to the 2024 NFL season, where he has recorded only four receptions for 39 yards and no touchdowns in the first two games.

During a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast, he reflected on his performance, stating, “I put that on me. I didn’t play my best, and it spreads if you don’t fix it.

Kelce emphasized that many factors contribute to a receiver's success, including the right play calls and coverage.

Despite his individual challenges, Kelce remains unfazed, saying, “I stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago.”

He noted that he prefers to focus on playing freely and contributing to the team rather than fixating on numbers. Kelce acknowledged that he used to get frustrated by slow starts but has learned to approach the game with a different mentality.

As the Chiefs prepare for their next game against the Atlanta Falcons, Kelce's leadership remains vital for the team's success.

His commitment to improvement and accountability reflects his determination to bounce back as the season progresses
